Agent Kim Reactivated Episode 6 is the wildest episode of the season. Min Ji lands inside Gang Chan’s house, SMD Director Guk Cheol leads a midnight raid to pull her out, Han Soo breaks into SMD headquarters with little more than a rope and a water bottle, and the final shot puts Kim on a roof with a wire cutting into Vice Minister Do Han’s neck. Here’s the full recap, ending explained, and a quick review.

The 2016 Jeju Island Flashback

Episode 6 opens in 2016 on Jeju Island, where Kim is posted at a hotel for a covert job. He recalls Director Jang’s briefing: the US president’s daughter lands in three days for a week-long stay, a group tied to Al-Qaeda plans to kidnap her, and since she refused protection, the team will shadow her until she leaves.

The neighboring rooms are taken — Jin Cheol blasting music in one, Han Soo training in the other. At dinner, insults fly: Kim mocks Jin Cheol’s suspicious outfit, Jin Cheol fires back about the cap Kim never removes, then calls Han Soo a monkey who couldn’t break a bone. Han Soo answers by snapping a table in half with his foot and heading outside to fight. Kim never looks up from his meal.

Min Ji Walks Into Gang Chan’s House

Back in the present, Min Ji is stranded on the road and accepts a lift — straight into Gang Chan’s car. The SMD traces the vehicle to Juhan Construction, and Guk Cheol guesses she’s headed to Gang Chan’s home. Sang A secretly texts Kim his daughter’s location, and Han Soo rolls up on a scooter; the two race off.

At the mansion, Gang Chan’s man seizes Min Ji’s phone before she can call her father. In the study, she apologizes for fighting with his daughter, Hye Ri, then lies about remembering nothing. Her official story: a cold storage room, a thug with a knife, a lucky escape. When she pleads to call her dad, Gang Chan turns ice cold — his daughter wants Min Ji dead, and he plans to deliver. His men pin her down as he readies an injection. Then the doorbell rings.

Guk Cheol Raids the Mansion

It’s the SMD, and when nobody answers, they break the door down. Gang Chan’s security is thin, and his men fold fast. Guk Cheol orders a sweep — but Min Ji is already in the basement, and Gang Chan has quietly called National Security Vice Minister Do Han.

Guk Cheol lights a cigarette; Gang Chan slaps it away, demands to know who broke in, and works out fast they’re SMD, not police. Guk Cheol taunts him about golfing with the minister and says he came for the girl. Outside, Nam drops every agent at the gate while Kim and Han Soo watch from hiding — and spot Sang A and Mr. Lim sneaking inside. Then Do Han calls, screaming at Guk Cheol to withdraw, and Guk Cheol retreats — or so it seems.

The Basement Rescue and Kim’s Offer

Later, Guk Cheol meets Sang A and Mr. Lim elsewhere, and the twist lands: Min Ji climbs out of his car — Sang A fought through the basement guards to grab her during the chaos. Min Ji stares at Mr. Lim — the laundry uncle — who says simply they came to save her.

Meanwhile, Guk Cheol’s men stake out the street waiting for Kim, but Kim is already watching them — and he beats the truth out of one: headquarters. His call to Guk Cheol is blunt: keep his daughter safe and he surrenders; hurt her and he kills them all. Guk Cheol refuses — he can’t trust a spy. Even Mr. Lim admits to Sang A how filthy it feels using a daughter as bait.

Jin Cheol’s Hidden Arsenal

Jin Cheol sneaks home for weapons and finds his wife waiting. After days of him missing, she half jokes that he must have a new family. Cornered, he tells her everything — and instead of exploding, she backs him. Help Kim, she says. He opens his private security room: a wall-to-wall armory.

Han Soo’s Rope-and-Water-Bottle Infiltration

At headquarters, Guk Cheol sends Min Ji to interrogation, unaware Han Soo rode in hidden beneath their vehicle. Han Soo drops a guard, steals his access key, and slips inside, but swarming soldiers kill that plan. So he improvises: a tied-up staffer, a rope, a water bottle, and a slow drip rigged above the main server.

The Interrogation and the Breakout

Guk Cheol asks Min Ji what her father does. Bank employee, she says. He’s a spy, Guk Cheol fires back — and his cover is blown because of what he did to save her. The North knows now, so he needs to know if Kim is working with Gang Chan. Min Ji lays it out: the school fight with Hye Ri, the brick to her head, the cold storage room, the escape, the lift.

When Do Han arrives to take her, Guk Cheol rushes Min Ji into a hidden room — ruining Han Soo’s vent-drop, so he shadows them through the ducts and whispers down: look up. Downstairs, Do Han tears into Guk Cheol over the raid; Guk Cheol curses his boss for licking Gang Chan’s boots and swears nobody will stop him from catching Kim.

In the vents, Min Ji asks if her father really is a spy. Before Han Soo answers, the rigged bottle finishes its job — water hits the servers, lights die, alarms scream, and everyone runs. The pair slip out, but the stolen key fails at the exit until Han Soo flattens a guard and grabs his. Outside, armed men pour in with Guk Cheol in the middle. Han Soo tells Min Ji to run when he counts to three.

Agent Kim Reactivated Episode 6 Ending Explained

He never reaches three. Smoke erupts as Jin Cheol rams a car through the wall, firing and yelling for everyone to get in. The door jams, the gun clicks empty, and the trio is pinned behind the car under heavy fire. They surrender.

Then the final twist: a terrified Do Han orders the soldiers to drop their weapons, but no one listens. As he backs toward the wall, a wire snaps tight around his neck — Kim is above him, pulling. Blood seeps as Min Ji looks up and sees her father. Kim’s only line lands perfectly: “Let’s go home.” Episode 6 cuts to black, Do Han’s fate left wide open.

Agent Kim Reactivated Episode 6 Review

This Agent Kim Reactivated Episode 6 recap shows a series firing on every cylinder. The flashback banter supplies the laughs, the mansion raid and server-room sabotage bring the tension, and the water-drip trick is a genuinely clever touch. Guk Cheol finally acts instead of sitting behind a desk, and Min Ji carries her scenes well. Gang Chan slipping off the board this easily is the only weak link. Rating: 8.5 out of 10.

That’s the complete Agent Kim Reactivated Episode 6 recap. With Kim holding Do Han’s life in his hands and Guk Cheol on the warpath, Episode 7 can’t arrive fast enough.
