A Secret Romance Begins at the Office
It opens with Yoon Ra’s old interview of Si U and Ji Yoon, asked separately about weddings and love. One common question — would you fall in love again — gets the same non-answer from both. Against Episode 6’s kiss, that hesitation feels ancient.
The next morning, both are glowing. Si U texts mid-run, then waits outside with flowers and health food. In the car, he floats telling people at work; Ji Yoon shuts it down instantly. Once the company knows, the questions never end — and they double after a breakup. She promises she’s a flawless liar.
The lying starts at lunch: Ji Yoon texts Si U an invite; he declines. So does Gi Tae. Later, a coworker notes Si U wears no ring, then squints at Ji Yoon — she looks different today, and who brings flowers to the office? Ji Yoon denies everything.
Mid demo prep, Si U pulls Ji Yoon into the showroom: her workload has exploded, and Yeong Sam will never approve extra help — so Si U offers to play the President card himself (no, she can’t borrow it). Ironically, the showroom hides another secret couple who scatter when nearly caught — and our leads copy the move.
Yeong Sam Tightens the Trap
Gi Tae reports the demo is coming fast, with a foreign company set to join the project. Yeong Sam wants it stopped at any cost, but Gi Tae still hasn’t found Si U’s weakness. A call from the President boxes Yeong Sam into backing the team anyway, so he dumps Yoon Ra on the task force and reminds Gi Tae what promotions cost.
Over drinks, Gi Tae watches friends toast promotions he never got; when Yeong Sam texts again, he steps outside and caves: tell me what to do.

The Flaw That Could Kill the Home AI
Mr. Kim lays out a fatal flaw in the Home AI’s food manager: the refrigerator camera sits at the back, so anything stacked in front stays invisible and the feature collapses. Ji Yoon refuses to let it die — her fix is hiring a Gen AI expert.
Yoon A, U Jin, and One Very Bad Day
Yoon A beats U Jin at a game and collects her prize: he becomes her language tutor, even after warning her he’s expensive — money isn’t her concern. Their lessons turn flirty, and he teaches her to say “will you be my girlfriend”; when she repeats it, he says yes on the spot.
Then it cracks. At his studio, U Jin invites her over; she calls that weird, so he counters — then date me — and leans in. His ex-girlfriend storms in right then, accusing him of dumping her over Yoon A. Outside, Yoon A learns his breakup came two months ago, same as hers. She lumps him in with her ex and insists love takes effort; U Jin replies that love doesn’t come from trying. She hates him, she says, and never wants to see him again.
The Weekend Date and Three Close Calls
Their weekend date is sweet, honest, and nearly exposed three times. Asked when his feelings started, Si U can’t pin it down — maybe when she told him to be her sun, or when she asked if he was lonely. He can name exactly why he’s impressed: she’s great at her job, and she comforts everyone.
Close call one: Ji Yoon spots her little brother, Joon Su, who should be at school. She yanks Si U into a shop — but not before he smiles at the kid. Joon Su knows he’s seen that man before.
Close call two: Yoon A and U Jin appear in the next store, and Yoon A instantly clocks the hand-holding. Ji Yoon admits it, and Yoon A warns her — remember the dating rumors after that baseball game. Ji Yoon counters by asking about the young guy on Yoon A’s arm. Not dating, Yoon A says. Yet.
In the car, Ji Yoon promises Yoon A will stay quiet and suggests dinner. Si U isn’t feeling well — so his place instead. Ji Yoon fake-protests, agrees, and Si U cheerfully admits it was a ploy to get her alone.
“There Was No Reason to Stay”
At his apartment, Si U cooks slowly enough that Ji Yoon takes over. Over drinks, she asks why he planned America: nothing was keeping him here. He flew home once a year — his mother’s death anniversary — to see his father. He’d planned the move for years; she changed it. Ji Yoon apologizes for hiding at work, but he refuses the apology. If anyone’s at fault, it’s him. They kiss.
A Rehearsal, a Meeting Clash, and a Mole
Si U drops Ji Yoon at rehearsal for a friend’s wedding performance and spots Ga Eul there too. Inside, Hye Ji offers Ji Yoon an out — she takes none of it. On the ride home, Ga Eul brags about her new house; Ji Yoon hops off early and lets Si U’s call ring out, because answering means lying.
The next day, a design meeting turns tense: Su Jin pitches her direction, Ji Yoon argues her own, and Si U cuts his girlfriend off mid-sentence to back Su Jin. Ji Yoon stews — until Su Jin later admits her point was worth keeping.
The apparent fix arrives with Yong Hoon, the Gen AI expert who signs on fast. Then, alone, he calls a man named Mr. Noh, flashes a very different smile, and reports that he’s in. The task force just hired a spy.

Ji Yoon comes home to find Si U waiting outside. In her kitchen, they blurt the questions both have dodged — what did Su Jin want, what happened with Ga Eul — at the exact same moment, then go quiet. Si U spills a drink down his shirt.
That leads to the bathroom, a borrowed towel, and Si U asking if she wants to come in. She says yes; he pulls her in for a kiss. Episode 7 ends right there.
